Bringing Four-Way Cellular Superiority and Precision Navigation to Global Markets

2J Antennas is expanding their “Medusa” series by adding a high-performance 5-in-1 combination antenna (2J7041BGFc) for Cellular/LTE MIMO and GNSS global navigation. This cost-effective antenna is the ideal solution for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. The well designed 2J7041BGFc operates with 698 MHz – 2700 MHz frequencies on four (4) cellular bands and 1575 MHz – 1610 MHz frequencies on a single GNSS band with a focus on high performance, reliability, high data throughput and precision.

The four-way (4) Cellular/ LTE cable is tuned for high data throughput MIMO devices that operate within 4G LTE, FirstNet, LPWA, CAT-X/-MX/-NBx, NB-IoT, 3G and 2G standards. The CAT connection is backwards compatible with existing LTE networks reducing integration costs. With the power of four (4) MIMO cellular connections, this antenna has the ability to search and pair the strongest signals for continuous connectivity. With up to ~6 dBi peak gain for the LTE bands and with an efficiency of up to ~53%, this omni-directional antenna is the best choice for applications that rely on high performance.

The single cable GNSS connection is for highly accurate navigation services for devices that operate within the GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, Galileo and L1 satellite networks. This powerful active antenna is designed with a post saw pre-filter for high protection against LNA burn-out while maintaining a consistent active gain of 23 dB @ 3V and 24 dB @ 5V.

 

Installation / Environmental

The elegantly designed dome shaped housing measures Ø 96 x H 90 mm and is available in black or white heavy duty ASA UV stable material. This antenna is fully IP67, IP69 and IK09 certified which assures full protection against water, high temperatures, dust, particles and is resistant to impact making it ideal for heavy duty outdoor applications.

The 2J7041BGFc is tuned for optimal performance and comes with standard SMA-Male connector and with 300cm long LMR195 cables for the cellular connections and LMR100 cable for the GNSS connection. All 5 cables feed through the anti-rotation screw mounting located at the bottom center of the housing.
